About Myself

Hey, I'm Michael Barski and I was born in Texas and moved to Utah after living there for eleven years. Since then I've learned to play trombone and now I play in the school bands. I'm modest about my playing, but I'm always competitive. If you can do something that I can't its my job to be able to do that thing. I'm always striving forward with high aspirations to be in the top school bands and to be able to play like my favorite trombonists. I constantly get bored with the music I'm given and I am always trying to play the things I'm impressed by. Now that I'm in the high school bands, I'm reaching out for every opportunity to be better. I take private lessons per my band directors recommendation and I'm listening to the players that are better than me, so I can improve. I listen to Andy Martin, Wycliffe Gordon, Trombone shorty and many more musicians trying to mimic their playing the best I can. Even with all this and the fact that it's my topic I still like hanging out with friends and playing video games.  So, I'm always trying to get better at my playing and I'm always challenging myself. I hope I don't Alienate the readers out there that don't know anything about music, especially since I don't know too much myself, but I'll try and explain what I do know with you guys.
